Take a look at this Interactive Area and Perimeter app created by PhET.

This interactive area explorer is provided by PhET Interactive Simulations University of Colorado Boulder https://phet.colorado.edu

You can either use the app to explore making your own shapes, or if you would like to test your area and perimeter skills then play the area and perimeter games.

Area and Perimeter Challenges

We have created some challenges to run alongside the interactive area explorer to help develop understanding of area and perimeter.

You can use the app to create the shapes and then work out the area and perimeter. This is a great way for supporting kids who need some extra support.

The challenges can also be used as standalone worksheets without the app.
